Parallels deals with three distinct female characters who are unrelated to one another yet are all struggling with the issue of body image. The film is heavily audio oriented using binaural audio techniques to place the audience in the role of each of the three main characters. The narrative is very simplistic yet relates to thousands of women who struggle with this issue and has an important twist that is unlike any other.
